Supporting arts managers to do their best work

The Jini Stolk Creative Fellowship is an annual award that encourages the development of the field of arts management through professional development, research, networking and sharing.

Anna Gallagher-Ross, Senior Manager, Programming with The Bentway, has been awarded the third annual Jini Stolk Creative Fellowship.

This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to deepen my curatorial research and professional work, contributing to the evolution of public art practice as a catalyst for civic dialogue, community connection, and urban transformation.”

Fellowship Overview

  • Who

    The Fellowship is for Toronto-based arts administrators/managers working at small or mid-sized companies. Early to senior managers are eligible.

  • Why

    Arts managers are passionate and committed to their work. The Fellowship provides an opportunity for arts managers to explore, think, develop their expertise and generate new ideas.

  • Goals

    By supporting arts managers and their growth, the Fellowship aims to encourage experimentation, build a Fellowship alumni network and knowledge base, and enhance the arts sector as a whole.

  • Amount

    The Fellowship offers $20,000 over two years ($10,000 each year) to an individual arts manager. A new Fellow will be named annually.

  • Nomination

    Individuals will be nominated by the arts organizations that employ them. Nominations are expected to open in the fall of every year.

  • Management

    The Ontario Arts Foundation manages the endowment that funds the Fellowship.
